Gypsy in the woods!

I personally like this movie very much! As like all Imtiaz Ali movies, there is strong current, that flows behind what we see on screen. Meera and Jay, they just don't want be like other couples, they distance themselves and play hide and seek but never realize, they were actually started coming closer with each such effort.. eventually love finds a way! This was great effort by Imtiaz Ali to convey that though time keeps changing, love never changes! Loved the way he portrayed his philosophy through beautiful songs, mentions of Laila-Majnu, Heer-Ranza through their conversations and love story of gusty Veer Singh! There are some dots, Imtiaz has connected beautifully like that 'Heer-Ranza, Laila Majnu' monologue Jay speaks at start and end of movie in contrasting circumstances, that is sheer genius of Writer Imtiaz! He conncts two completely different but yet very similar characters in different era through Jay and Veer Singh, their path runs very similar way! Meera i

 जेव्हा एखादी परंपरा काही वर्षे समाजात रुजते तेव्हा तिला धुमारे फुटू लागतात, आणखी काही वर्षे ती जगलिच तर त्या धुमार्‍यान्चा एक वृक्ष होतो, ज्याच्या अंगाखांद्यावर समाज बहरतो. पण जर हीच परंपरा अविरत शेकडो वर्षे चालत राहिली तर तिचा भव्य-दिव्य असा दिशादर्शक. वटवृक्ष बनतो! वारीचा हा आधारवड तब्बल आठशेहून अधिक वर्षे जुना आहे! असे म्हणतात की संत ज्ञानेश्वरांचे पणजोबा श्री त्र्यंबकपंत कुलकर्णी हे आपेगाव ते पंढरपूर वारी करत. बाराव्या शतकाचा काळ तो, वारीची परंपरा याहूनही जुनी असावी!  ज्ञानदेव माउलींनी त्यांच्या लाडक्या विठाईचे तेजपुंज रूप याची देही याची डोळा पाहिल्यानंतर किती सुंदररित्या वर्णिले आहे.     पांडुरंगकांती दिव्य तेज झळकती । रत्‍नकीळ फांकती प्रभा । अगणित लावण्य तेजःपुंजाळले । न वर्णवे तेथींची शोभा I ज्ञानदेवे रचिला पाया असे म्हणतात. ज्ञानदेवांनी वारकरी संप्रदायाला चालना दिली. पुढे नामदेवांनी ही पताका पंजाब पर्यंत फडकावली. नामदेवांनी, अस्मानी सुलतानी संकटे झेलत कधी अनवाणी तर कधी उपाशीपोटी पण न चुकता लाडक्या विठूरायाला भेटायला जाणाऱ्या वारकऱ्याला नक्की काय हवे असते याचे सुंदर
